Maintenance Technician for earthing devices and earthing rods

What you can achieve. • You will independently undertake the demanding maintenance, servicing, repair, and overhaul of earthing rods, earthing sets, voltage testers, and other safety-relevant equipment.  • You will check the function, perform safety technical acceptances according to regulations, and initiate appropriate corrective measures in the event of malfunctions to ensure the equipment remains ready for use.  • By documenting all work, test results, and technical findings in the corresponding systems, you ensure traceability and support the team with instructions, training, and active knowledge transfer.  • You bear responsibility for quality and safety and ensure compliance with all applicable safety, quality, and environmental regulations.  • You will actively drive the further development of the specialist department and create and optimize processes, work instructions, and technical documentation.  • If required, you will support other areas of the Regionalen Bahntechnik Center and contribute your technical know-how flexibly.  What you bring with you. • Team-oriented work is important to you and you are committed to constructive cooperation across departmental boundaries.  • With your independent, reliable, and structured way of working, you take responsibility and consistently pay attention to safety and quality.  • A strong technical understanding as well as enjoyment of precise, careful, and quality-conscious work characterize you.  • You have completed vocational training in a manual or mechanical direction or bring several years of experience in the maintenance and repair of electrical devices, motor devices, machines, two-wheelers, or cars. Experience in the maintenance, testing, or repair of equipment is an advantage and knowledge in the electrical field is welcome.  • You have good user knowledge in Microsoft 365, ideally supplemented with experience in SAP or another ERP system.  • You have mastered German in spoken and written form at least at level B2.
