Financial Analyst & Consultant (M&A)

AlpVera Corporate GmbH is a Swiss consulting company. We provide services in financial and legal consulting for corporate clients, including the support of M&A transactions, corporate structuring, and cross-border projects. We serve an international clientele — with a significant share of Russian- and Spanish-speaking clients — according to the high quality standards of the Swiss market.

To expand our activities, we are looking for an experienced female financial analyst / experienced male financial analyst with proven experience in supporting M&A transactions for a part-time workload of 60%. You will work directly with our clients and the management and support mandates throughout the entire cycle — from the initial analysis to closing.

YOUR TASKS

Financial analysis of companies: Analysis of annual financial statements, financial modelling, company valuation (DCF, multiples, comparative analyses)

Support of M&A transactions: Preparation of term sheets and information memoranda, EBITDA analysis and normalization, negotiation support

Conducting financial due diligence and preparing client reports

Preparation of analyses, presentations, and statements in several languages

Collaboration with banks, auditors, lawyers, and regulatory authorities within the framework of mandates

Advising clients on matters of corporate finance, structuring, and investment decisions

Participation in client and partner meetings on-site (Switzerland and abroad)

YOUR PROFILE

Completed university degree in economics/business: Master's degree (Master / lic.oec. / Diplom) or higher in finance, economics, or banking; a Bachelor's degree alone will not be considered

Additional qualifications (CFA, CIIA, ACCA, or equivalent) are an advantage

At least 5 years of experience at banks or financial institutions in functions such as: Financial Analyst, M&A / Corporate Finance Analyst, Investment Analyst, Private Banker / Relationship Manager, Credit Analyst, Valuation Specialist, Consultant Transaction Services / Financial Due Diligence, or comparable positions

Proven involvement in M&A transactions (buy-side and/or sell-side)

Proficient use of financial modelling and company valuation methods

Knowledge of the Swiss financial and regulatory environment is a significant advantage

Language skills: German C1, English B2, Spanish B2, Russian B2

Driver's license category B

Willingness for frequent travel (Switzerland and abroad)

High accuracy, analytical thinking, independence, and customer orientation

Annual gross compensation: CHF 60'000 at a workload of 60% (corresponds to CHF 100'000 at full-time)
