Technical key position with a long-term perspective The Kempter AG in Wil is an independent engineering office with a focus on energy and supply infrastructures. For over 40 years, the company has supported energy suppliers and infrastructure operators in the planning, modernization, and integration of demanding electrical engineering plants and systems in the areas of electricity, water, heat, and gas. In the course of a long-term planned further development of the company, we are looking for an experienced and technically savvy personality who independently takes on demanding projects, advises customers competently, and increasingly assumes a key role within the company. This position is explicitly aimed at specialists who have sound practical experience in energy and supply infrastructure and who can not only coordinate technical solutions but also understand, evaluate, and help develop them themselves. Sr. Project Manager Electrical Engineering / Energy Infrastructure Your tasks Independent management and technical processing of demanding customer projects in energy and control technology Analysis of existing plants and infrastructures on site Development of technical concepts, specifications, and solution proposals Planning and engineering of electrical engineering plants including schematic and hardware planning Planning and support of renewals in protection, control, and station control technology Technical support and execution of tests and commissioning Conducting tenders as well as technical assessment of offers and solutions Coordination and technical leadership of customers, suppliers, and project partners Advising energy suppliers and infrastructure operators at eye level Step-by-step assumption of additional technical and entrepreneurial responsibility Your profile For this function, we are deliberately not looking for a generalist project manager, but rather a personality with proven technical practical experience. You possess: a degree as an Electrical Engineer FH/ETH or a comparable technical education several years of practical experience in energy supply, network technology, station automation, or comparable electrical engineering infrastructures sound experience in project planning, engineering, and technical project management practical knowledge in areas such as schematic creation, hardware planning, commissioning, and protection technology experience with control systems, station control technology and/or communication systems sound understanding of the operation of medium-voltage networks and/or water supply plants or comparable supply infrastructures the ability to technically analyze existing plants and independently develop viable solutions from them Important: Decisive for this position is the combination of project responsibility and own technical competence.
