Battery storage systems are a key element for a flexible and high-performance energy system. In this role, you will accompany BESS projects from the initial idea through to technical and economic evaluation, and then to concrete implementation. You will work on projects for external clients as well as for Primeo Energie, combining technology, project management, and profitability.

This position is also suitable for beginners with appropriate technical training. What matters to us is not so much the number of years of experience, but your desire to take on responsibility and lead projects to their effective completion.

What tasks await you? ##

• You lead and coordinate projects revolving around battery energy storage systems (BESS) - from preliminary studies and feasibility studies to planning, procurement, and realization.
• You evaluate potential BESS projects from a technical and economic perspective and develop feasibility studies, variant comparisons, and business cases.
• You assume tasks of representing the client and coordinate internal specialized services, planners, suppliers, plant constructors, and other external partners.
• You ensure that concepts become concrete installations while keeping an eye on project deadlines, costs, quality, and risks.
• You develop, in collaboration with internal and external partners, customer-specific BESS and flexibility solutions, thinking beyond the individual installation.
• You contribute to the evolution of our products, services, and processes in the tertiary BESS sector.
• You support tenders, procurement, and supplier management, and bring your project-derived knowledge to the improvement of the specialist field.
• You increasingly play the role of interface between clients, asset management, and the various BESS disciplines within Primeo Energie.

What do we expect from you? ##

• Completed Master's (FH/Uni) in electrical engineering, energy technology, mechanical engineering, engineering economics, or a comparable technical discipline.
• Interest in battery storage systems, energy systems, grids, and the energy transition, as well as the willingness to quickly familiarize yourself with the BESS field.
• Ideally, initial experience in the implementation of technical projects or in the construction of installations, for example via internships in plants or industry, or your first professional years.
• You understand what is required to move a technical installation from planning to realization and you feel capable of coordinating the specialists and partners involved.
• Technical understanding associated with good economic thinking: investments, costs, profitability, and business cases interest you as much as the technical solution.
• A strong orientation towards implementation: you do not just analyze and design, you want to see how an idea becomes a functional project.
• You enjoy contact with clients and understand well that in the tertiary sector, we act as service providers by consistently orienting solutions towards customer benefits.
• Very good knowledge of German orally and in writing, other national languages are an advantage.
• Autonomous and structured work as well as pleasure in bringing together different specialized disciplines.
