What awaits you:

• Execution of procurement procedures according to IVöB including documentation
• Analysis of IT procurement data to identify savings and bundling potentials
• Development and implementation of category strategies for IT infrastructure, software, cloud, SaaS, and services
• Negotiation and optimization of framework, license, maintenance, and SaaS contracts, taking into account SLA, data protection, and compliance
• Active supplier management including market analyses, supplier evaluation, and supplier consolidation

What you should bring:

• Several years of professional experience (>5 years) as a Category Manager, strategic buyer, or comparable function in the IT environment
• Demonstrable experience in public procurement (IVöB or BöB) with independently conducted award and tender procedures (among others)
• Sound knowledge in IT product groups such as software licenses, SaaS, cloud services, IT services, as well as maintenance and service contracts
• Strong contract and negotiation competence as well as confident handling of spend analyses and procurement-relevant KPIs
• Business fluent German skills as well as good English skills in speaking and writing
