Head of Finance Municipality Your responsibility You lead the finance department technically and organizationally. You are responsible for the financial and accounting system of the municipal and local citizen community. You create budget, annual financial statement and financial planning and accompany the tax collection. You prepare comprehensible decision-making bases for the municipal council and administration. You take care of the insurance portfolio as well as the IT department. You accompany trainees in their training and support them if needed in telephone and counter service. Your competencies You have professional experience in the municipal finance sector. You ideally have a CAS Public Administration Level II with specialist competence Finance Experts Aargau or a comparable further education. You work independently, reliably and responsibly. You keep track of multiple topics and changing priorities. You communicate clearly, appear bindingly and work gladly with different stakeholder groups. You appreciate pragmatic solutions and a collegial environment with short decision-making paths. Your perspective You take on a central function with direct influence on the financial management of the municipality. You work in a manageable administration with short paths and a lot of personal responsibility. You actively help shape processes and developments.
