Homologation Manager Vehicle Modernization

You are responsible for the homologation and certification activities for international modernization projects of rail vehicles and advise engineering teams on homologation issues.

Tasks

• Responsibility for homologation and certification activities in international modernization projects
• Coordination with authorities, infrastructure operators, assessment bodies, and experts
• Coordination with engineering specialist departments and type test management
• Development of generic homologation concepts for cross-cutting modernization topics
• Advising engineering and product development on homologation issues during the sales phase
• Assessment of modified configurations for homologation and safety relevance

Profile

• Completed studies FH/ETH/TU in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or industrial engineering
• Very good German and English skills (level B2), Italian an advantage
• Experience in homologation and technical knowledge regarding rail vehicles an advantage
• Open, communicative and flexible personality with an independent way of working
• Affinity for requirement, verification and document management systems such as DOORS or Teamcenter
