Senior Platform & DevOps Engineer (AWS/Hybrid Cloud)

• IT - Software Engineering • Bern • Contracting • Full-time • Immediately - 31.12.2027 (with option for extension) • DevOps, AWS, CI/CD Your tasks: • Provision of highly automated development and operating environments in self-service for internal customers • Advising and supporting stakeholders in the conception and implementation of modern cloud solutions • Continuous further development and operation of cloud platforms based on AWS as well as hybrid cloud environments • Responsibility for central platform services such as Landing Zones, network, storage and filer services as well as FinOps-relevant topics • Development of Infrastructure-as-Code solutions, CI/CD pipelines as well as own Terraform modules and providers with Python and/or Go • Active shaping of architecture and technology decisions as well as taking responsibility for their implementation • Ensuring stable and reliable platform operation together with the team • Participation in on-call duty to ensure high availability of the provided services   Your profile: • Completed training or studies in the field of computer science (EFZ, HF, FH, university, ETH or comparable) • Several years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Platform Engineer or in a similar role with responsibility for productive systems • Very good knowledge of CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code as well as tools such as Terraform, Git, Jenkins or ArgoCD • Sound experience in the design, construction and operation of public cloud solutions on AWS and/or Azure • Experience in software development with Python and/or Go • High level of independence, initiative and strong sense of responsibility • Agile mindset as well as strong communication and teamwork skills • Willingness to participate in on-call duty • Good German and/or English skills at least at B2 level
