We are looking for:

Managing Director 80%-100% for the Rheumaliga beider Basel, a co-management in job-sharing would also be possible

The Rheumaliga beider Basel is a non-profit association and non-profit organization (NPO) that advocates for people with rheumatic diseases and their relatives.

What awaits you:

• a meaningful activity with a lot of creative freedom and direct impact
• operational office management to implement the strategy of the board
• management of a small team with responsibility for human resources & leadership of the employees including course instructors
• budget control and financial accounting including payroll and preparation of the annual financial statements with the fiduciary and auditing office
• strengthening the financial basis of the foundation (fundraising, funding applications, maintaining contact with donors, etc.)
• responsibility for external communication (website, newsletter, social media, media inquiries, annual report, etc.)
• conception & organization of events and projects
• further development of service offerings, processes and projects
• cooperation with the umbrella organization (Rheumaliga Schweiz)
• network expansion to specialists, authorities and partner organizations
• quality assurance in the course system

What we expect:

• management and leadership experience in the healthcare sector and/or an NPO
• if possible experience in the areas of marketing, fundraising, finance, accounting and/or human resources
• open and respectful communication, a confident appearance, hands-on mentality, creativity, empathy and sense of responsibility
• structured, conceptual and strategic approach with clear prioritization
• oral and written proficiency in German
