Your area of responsibility

In this responsible position as Application Expert D365 Finance, you are the central specialist for the digitalization, optimization, and further development of our financial processes. Working within IT at the interface between finance and other specialist departments, you ensure that our processes and value flows are mapped efficiently and in a future-proof manner in D365.

With your understanding of business contexts and your expertise in D365, you contribute significantly to data integrity, process automation, and the provision of decision-relevant information.

• System configuration and optimization: You configure and further develop solutions in D365 Finance and AX2012 Finance
• Process analysis and solution design: You analyze existing financial processes - such as general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed asset accounting, controlling, and cost accounting - and design efficient, standardized workflows in D365
• Data management and integration: Together with the responsible specialist departments, you ensure data quality and consistency and supervise the integration with other D365 modules, especially Supply Chain Management, as well as third-party systems
• Reporting and analysis: You develop and implement meaningful financial reports and key performance indicator systems
• User support and training: You are a competent contact person for the specialist departments, provide 2nd and 3rd level support, and conduct training for users
• Project participation and further development: You actively participate in the introduction of new functionalities, rollouts, and system upgrades and take responsibility for the further development of the finance applications

What you bring

• D365 Finance experience: Sound, multi-year practical experience in the configuration and customizing of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance
• Process understanding: Very good understanding of end-to-end processes in finance, especially Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, and Order-to-Cash
• Finance expertise: Solid knowledge in accounting, for example OR, Swiss GAAP FER or IFRS, controlling, and cost accounting
• ERP and integration experience: Experience with interfaces, data flows, as well as role and authorization concepts in a complex ERP landscape
• Analytical way of working: You grasp complex contexts quickly, work in a structured, precise, and solution-oriented manner
• Communication skills: You communicate clearly with contact persons from IT and finance and can convey technical and specialist matters understandably
• Initiative and teamwork: You recognize potential for improvement, drive solutions forward independently, and enjoy working in a team
• Certifications: Relevant Microsoft certifications in the area of D365 Finance are an advantage
