On an exclusive assignment, we are looking for a down-to-earth and committed personality as Workshop Manager 100 %. You will lead two employees, organize everyday workshop activities, and roll up your sleeves yourself. A special project awaits you: a new workshop with two washing systems is being created. You will actively participate in the planning and equipment of your future workplace.

Workshop Manager

Your Responsibility

• You lead the two workshop employees, distribute tasks, and provide technical support to the team
• You actively participate in the planning and equipment of the new workshop with two washing systems
• You plan maintenance, repairs, and conversions and coordinate priorities with those responsible for operations
• You actively maintain and repair machines, tractors, special felling machines, robots, winter service equipment, and small devices
• You maintain the company vehicles, prepare them for vehicle inspections, and present them to the Strassenverkehrsamt
• You undertake repairs on construction sites and organize towing if necessary
• You manage the excavator rental station and take over the issuance and return of excavators and dumpers
• You develop technical improvements and individual solutions with the team
• You procure spare parts and workshop materials, keep an eye on costs, and document the work
• You accompany trial apprentices and pass on your specialist knowledge
• You ensure order, quality, and safety in the workshop and support the seasonal on-call service

Your Profile

• Basic technical training as an agricultural machinery mechanic, construction machinery mechanic, or comparable qualification, as well as several years of experience in maintenance, diagnosis, and repair
• Sound knowledge of mechanics and hydraulics as well as good knowledge of vehicle electrics, electronic controls, and diagnostic systems
• Enjoyment of special machines, individual solutions, and new technologies
• Experience in workshop organization, realistic effort estimation, and reliable prioritization
• Leadership experience is an advantage; specialists with leadership potential are also welcome
• Appreciative, communicative personality who addresses challenges openly and involves the team
• Independent, reliable, and precise way of working with quality awareness and economic thinking
• Driver's license Category B, Category C is an advantage, and willingness to perform seasonal on-call service
• Good German skills
