At the Stiftung Gesundheitsförderung Bad Zurzach + Baden, you will take on a central role in the further development of our group-wide IT for our operations in the areas of healthcare, thermal bath operations, and administration.

Your tasks

• You take responsibility: As a department head and member of the management team, you bear the overall responsibility for the group-wide IT of the Stiftung Gesundheitsförderung Bad Zurzach + Baden with around 1600 employees at various locations in German-speaking Switzerland
• You lead and develop: You are responsible for the personnel, professional, and organizational leadership of the IT department with around 24 employees and trainees and constantly develop the area further
• You think strategically: You develop and implement the IT strategy considering new technologies, adapt the IT architecture to changing circumstances, and drive digital transformation in close cooperation with the executive management and the specialist departments
• You strengthen security and governance: You are responsible for IT governance and information security, further develop the Information Security Management System (ISMS) in cooperation with the central risk management, and establish an effective operational IT security organization
• You control resources and investments: You plan and are responsible for the IT budget, prioritize investments, and ensure an economical, future-oriented, and sustainable use of group-wide IT resources
• You shape the technological future: You evaluate strategic IT solutions and are responsible for their further development, particularly considering new technologies such as AI
• You coordinate partners and services: You optimize the interaction between internal processes and resources and external partners and services for a modern, future-oriented, and powerful IT organization
• You promote collaboration and innovation: You understand the needs of the various business areas, translate them into strategic IT priorities, and ensure that IT investments and digitalization initiatives create measurable added value for the organization

Your profile

• Experience: You have several years of experience in leading an IT organization with personnel, budget, and overall responsibility, ideally in healthcare or another system-critical environment
• Education: You have completed higher education in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable qualification
• Expertise: You have a broad understanding of modern IT architectures, infrastructure, applications, cloud services, IT service management, IT security, and new technologies such as AI
• Strategic thinking: You can translate complex requirements into a clear IT strategy, set the right priorities, and combine long-term development with reliable operational operations
• Leadership competence: You lead employees with appreciation, promote their professional and personal development, and create an environment in which self-responsibility, collaboration, and innovation are lived
• IT security and governance: You know the requirements for data protection, information security, and availability in a sensitive environment and know how to sustainably establish suitable structures and processes to support central risk management.
• Project and implementation competence: You plan and control complex IT projects, make pragmatic decisions, and ensure purposeful and timely implementation
• Communication: You communicate clearly, convincingly, and appropriately for the target group - with employees, specialist departments, executive management, and external partners.
• Languages: You have very good German skills in speaking and writing as well as good English skills for technical exchange and documentation
