This senior physician activity can be credited as further training towards the specialization in geriatrics (recognition Category A). We cover a wide spectrum of geriatrics (acute geriatrics, MemoryClinic, geriatric traumatology, Long Term Care). We offer the opportunity to use a diverse range of continuing education offerings within the KSW due to the close cooperation with the Center for General Internal Medicine. This is how we are communal personal & fair unique progressive Your tasks Treatment and care of female and male patients on the acute geriatric ward and in the geriatric trauma center of Kantonsspital Winterthur Treatment and care of people in the elderly care centers Oberi and Adlergarten of the city of Winterthur within our nursing home medical team Teaching and supervision of assistant physicians Participation in the in-house consultative service Design of treatment concepts for multimorbid female and male patients, taking into account ethical and palliative medical principles, involving the social environment and the various therapeutic services Participation in the on-call service of the elderly care centers Adlergarten and Oberi Your profile Ideally, you have completed further training as a specialist in General Internal Medicine or are about to complete it and are interested in obtaining the specialization title in Geriatrics You are interested in geriatrics and the problems of older people and want to expand your professional expertise in this area You are a committed, resilient, and highly team-oriented personality with high social competence and very good German skills in speaking and writing You are flexible, appreciate collegial interaction, and would like to work in an innovative, leading company in the healthcare sector where you can comprehensively contribute your skills and knowledge Do you have any questions?
