The Caisse de prévoyance de l'Etat de Fribourg is looking for an accounting manager to ensure the operational accounting management of the Fund and guarantee the quality, reliability and compliance of financial operations. In collaboration with the Finance & Controlling Manager, he/she will contribute to the preparation of financial statements, the monitoring of accounting activities and the continuous improvement of processes. Having a central role in the accounting management of the Fund, he/she will ensure compliance with current standards and actively participate in the modernization and digitalization projects of the Fund. Your responsibilities Autonomous management and responsibility for the maintenance of the Fund's accounting Coordination and management of the annual closing Preparation of financial statements according to Swiss GAAP RPC 26 Organization and active participation in the audit process of the accounts Steering of accounting interface tools Treasury management in collaboration with the F&C manager Establish VAT reconciliation Supervise an accounting assistant Contribute to the improvement of accounting processes and internal control system Collaborate closely with the technical, real estate and investment teams Manage a DMS and its supplier invoice validation workflow Participate in development and improvement projects of accounting management tools Your profile Higher professional education (Federal Diploma of specialist in finance and accounting, Bachelor in economics, HES) or training deemed equivalent in accounting Expertise of at least 5 in the field of accounting, including confirmed experience in a responsible role Confirmed accounting experience desired in occupational pension accounting Proactive, autonomous person, with a strong team spirit Marked interest in social insurance, finance and real estate Excellent command of French, with good knowledge of German, or vice versa Your skills Ability to co-construct and steer accounting and financial activities in close collaboration with the Finance & Controlling Manager Good knowledge of Swiss accounting standards in terms of occupational pensions (Swiss GAAP RPC 26), tax obligations and internal control Mastery of regulatory compliance issues and active contribution to the internal control system Rigor ensuring the reliability, accuracy and consistency of accounting and financial data Ability to prioritize, decide and structure accounting activities in a demanding environment Analytical spirit allowing for the resolution of complex issues and rapid takeover of existing processes Interest in the digitalization and automation of administrative and accounting processes Expertise in the use of accounting tools and common office applications, in particular Excel (Expert) Contact details Alexandre Missègue, T , [Write an email](< >) or Noemi Feliciano, T , [Write an email](< >) jpid9a7a249jm jpit0936jm jpiy26jm
