Export Clerk 80-100% (m/f/d)

Our client from the Lenzburg area has been a leader in international special plant and machine construction for over 25 years. The company develops and realizes customer-specific process plants for a wide variety of applications and industries. In doing so, the company works with suppliers and partners in Switzerland and in the international environment. Commissioning, service, and spare parts services round off the comprehensive portfolio. The company is on a growth course and therefore wants to specifically expand and further develop the export department. To strengthen the team, we are looking for a reliable, independent, and service-oriented personality as Export Clerk 80-100% (m/f/d) by arrangement.

Tasks:

• Support the Export Management in the operational and administrative processing of daily business
• Independent processing of import and export shipments including coordination of freight forwarders and transport service providers
• Creation and processing of order confirmations, invoices as well as delivery, customs, and origin documents
• Organization and ensuring of customer-specific packaging and transport solutions including shipping notifications, carnets and other export formalities
• Monitoring and ensuring of deadlines, documentation, processes, cost and quality standards
• Administration and maintenance of import and export documentation as well as general administrative activities
• Support with commercial, administrative and organizational tasks (accounts payable)
• Participation in the supervision and training of apprentices

Profile:

• Commercial basic training with further training in the export or foreign trade sector (Import/Export Clerk) or a comparable further training
• Experience in import, export and in customs clearance, preferably in the environment of capital goods
• Good knowledge in the creation and processing of export and shipping documents
• Goal- and customer-oriented way of working as well as strong quality awareness
• Solution-oriented thinking and acting as well as structured and independent way of working
• Enjoyment in collaborating with customers, suppliers, authorities and internal contact persons
• IT affinity and confident handling of common MS Office applications as well as ERP systems
• Good German and English skills in spoken and written form
