Sales Engineer IT Security

As a Sales Engineer, you support our partners in technical presales questions both commercially and conceptually. In this central interface function, you develop solution proposals and offers. Through close exchange with the manufacturer, our partners, and internal employees, you continuously expand your sound specialist knowledge. You advise in a customer-oriented manner, communicate convincingly, and are characterized by a precise, structured way of working. If you are motivated to proactively familiarize yourself with new cybersecurity technologies and to advance our partner network, you are exactly right with us! The primary tasks of this versatile function include:

• technical advice and support for complex quotation requests from our partners
• commercial and technical product presentations (live demos)
• development of solution offers and services in cooperation with the Product and Business Development Manager
• planning, implementation, and follow-up of technical product trainings
• close cooperation with the manufacturer for project offers on a commercial and technical level
• support in sales promotion and marketing activities for our partners
• continuous acquisition of market and technology knowledge regarding current cybersecurity solutions

What you bring with you

• Completed basic training, ideally supplemented by further training in computer science, sales, or business administration
• Practical experience in the field of security infrastructures and networks (ideally with Palo Alto Networks or comparable vendor solutions)
• Understanding of the processes of a trading company, preferably in a technical environment
• Enjoyment of customer contact as well as consulting and support in projects
• Strong communication skills and a confident appearance
• Structured, independent way of working paired with high teamwork skills
• High quality standards and willingness for further training
• Willingness to travel in CH and AT as well as to events of our suppliers
• Stylistically proficient German as well as good English skills, French is an advantage
