Your contribution

• Ensure legal advice for inquiries and legal support in the preparation of statements and consultations
• Participate in the preparation and updating of legal bases (explanations, ordinance and instruction texts)
• Develop specifications and instructions in the area of military law, the Data Protection Act and in the application of the Federal Act on Freedom of Information
• Lead the operational planning and the professional, methodical and didactic implementation of legal training for internal departments, training bodies in the field of defense as well as external authorities
• Create and revise training materials from a didactic perspective with the help of departments responsible for the subject matter
• Support the Extremism Unit in the Army with communication, case consultation and the initiation of measures

• Completed university law degree (Bachelor) with several years of professional experience
• Very good conceptual and rhetorical skills, basic didactic and pedagogical knowledge

The Training Command (Kdo Ausb) is responsible for training within the Swiss Army -- from recruitment through general basic training to officer training for the militia and professional military. Kdo Ausb includes the Higher Officer Training, Personnel of the Army, five training associations, the training center as well as the Women in the Army and Diversity unit. One third of the approximately 2,350 employees are active in civilian professions in the scientific, technical, medical, psychological, administrative or sporting field and contribute to success together with the professional military.

The Swiss Army employs over 9,000 employees in four military and around 200 civilian professions -- and this at 110 locations throughout Switzerland. Provision is also made for new talent: The Swiss Army trains apprentices in over 30 professions.
