From the first idea to the certified solution

FeuerschutzTeam AG develops, in collaboration with specialized partners, demanding security elements for doors, windows, glazing and wall systems. Fire protection is at the center, often combined with other requirements such as noise protection, burglary, smoke, flooding or radiation. The solutions are used notably at the Palais fédéral, the Kunsthaus Zurich and the Zurich central station.

On behalf of FeuerschutzTeam AG, we are looking for a technically competent and practice-oriented person. In this newly created position, you will work in close collaboration with the Managing Director Martin Kopp and accompany products from the first idea to development and testing until approval. You will benefit from great creative freedom and progressively assume an important role within the company.

Your tasks

• Development of new security and fire protection systems as well as the improvement of existing systems
• Accompanying development projects from the first idea to the tested and approved solution
• Creation and maintenance of CAD plans, plan data and technical documents with AutoCAD
• Management of approvals and certifications as well as preparation and accompaniment of external product tests
• Drafting and updating technical data sheets, presentations, training documents and technical content for the website
• Technical advice and training of partners and licensed companies

Your profile

• Basic training in carpentry, joinery or a comparable field
• Several years of practical experience in door, window or wood construction, with security elements or in specialized assembly
• Very good knowledge of AutoCAD as well as a confident mastery of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong digital affinity and pleasure in creating neat technical documentation
• Autonomous, reliable and quality-oriented way of working as well as the ability to master testing standards and procedures and to interconnectedly evaluate technical and economic aspects
• Desire to contribute your own ideas and to take on responsibilities
• Very good knowledge of German; knowledge of French is a great advantage

Additional training as a HF technician in wood technology, master carpenter or project manager as well as knowledge in fire protection is an asset, but not a condition. Practical experience, personality and enthusiasm for technically demanding solutions are decisive.
