As a healthcare specialist, you will work closely with clients, their relatives, as well as with people from different professions and cultures. Due to the active rotation principle in various fields of work, the training is very diverse. You will complete assignments in the acute hospital, in Spitex, as well as in the rehabilitation clinic.

As a regional hospital/acute hospital with emergency services, nursing home and Spitex, we are responsible for the basic medical care of the Davos population and guests. However, the well-being of our employees is equally important to us. Training process

• Three-year training with completion as a healthcare specialist with a Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (EFZ)
• Integrated Federal Vocational Baccalaureate «health and social direction» possible (additional semester after completion of apprenticeship)
• Training at three learning locations: training company, vocational school and inter-company courses
• Competencies to be acquired: professional action, hygiene and safety, care and support, medical technology, crisis and emergency, resource preservation and prevention, daily activities, nutrition, clothing and laundry, household, administration and logistics as well as work organization
