Production Worker Animal By-product Processing 100% (m/f/d)

Our customer: Undertakes an important task for the Swiss meat industry.

Annually, around 90'000 tons of animal by-products and slaughter waste are processed, sterilized and further processed into usable products such as animal fat and animal meal.

In addition, our customer fulfills a public disposal mandate and makes a significant contribution to disease prevention and the circular economy.

Your task:

• Receipt and inspection of the delivered raw materials
• Feeding and operating processing plants
• Monitoring the production processes on state-of-the-art plants
• Carrying out quality and process controls
• Ensuring a trouble-free production process
• Assisting with maintenance, revision and repair work
• Thorough cleaning of machines, plants and production areas
• Removal of production residues
• Compliance with all hygiene and safety regulations

Important to know:

• Contact with animal by-products, slaughter waste and animal carcasses
• Working in areas with intensive odors
• Handling of blood, fat, tissue and organ remains
• Working in warm, humid or partially noise-intensive production environments

Your profile:

• Completed vocational training or professional experience in production or industry
• Technical understanding and interest in production plants
• Good physical condition and resilience
• Willingness to work in an environment with odors and animal by-products
• Reliable, independent and responsible way of working
• Good German language skills in speaking and writing
