About Our Client ##

Our client is a recognized architectural firm from the Lausanne region, active on various and ambitious projects.

In order to strengthen its team, we are looking for a Construction Economist capable of accompanying projects from their design phase to their realization, with a strong sensitivity to economic and technical issues.

Job Description ##

Your main responsibilities are:

• Develop estimates and cost calculations at the different SIA phases.
• Prepare general estimates and descriptive tender documents.
• Prepare calls for tenders and analyze received submissions.
• Participate in negotiations with companies and suppliers.
• Ensure financial monitoring of projects and cost control.
• Establish offer comparisons and award recommendations.
• Collaborate closely with architects, site managers, and specialized mandatories.
• Contribute to the economic optimization of projects while guaranteeing the quality of realizations.

The Successful Applicant ##

Your profile:

• Training in the field of construction (ES technician, architect, engineer, construction economist or training deemed equivalent).
• Confirmed experience in Switzerland in a similar function.
• Good knowledge of SIA standards and the French-speaking Swiss construction market.
• Mastery of tendering processes and submissions. Proficiency with usual IT tools, notably Excel.
• Analytical mind, rigor, and sense of organization.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and taste for teamwork. We will only respond to applications whose profile meets the criteria indicated above
