Your main tasks: Machine setup and operation: Setup, programming and operation of center lathes and carousel lathes with Fanuc control for the mechanical pre-machining of forged large parts according to drawing, from individual parts to small series. Setup and pre-setting: Independent setup, rigging and pre-setting of the machines including all necessary operating resources. Material handling and clamping: Clamping and professional supply of the machines with forged parts in different setups and across several manufacturing steps. System monitoring: Ongoing monitoring of system operation as well as independent remedy of minor malfunctions, partly in cooperation with the maintenance department. Quality control and documentation: Independent execution of quality control using measuring instruments and visual inspections as well as proper feedback and confirmation of quality inspections in the SAP system. Marking of components: Marking of the manufactured components according to the specified specifications and quality requirements. Occupational safety: Ensuring compliance with all safety specifications as well as active contribution to a safe working environment. What you bring with you: Education and experience: You have completed training as a polymechanic or equivalent background and have gained some years of professional experience. Shift operation: You are ready to work in 2-shift operation and bring the necessary flexibility for the weekly changing deployment times. Program and system knowledge: Ideally, you have good user knowledge in Fanuc and Siemens controls as well as in SAP-Beas. Language skills: You speak and write German well.
