Your contribution

• Plan, direct and successfully implement complex IT projects from their inception to their introduction and lead the project team in a competent and strategic manner
• Ensure the achievement of project objectives in terms of timing, costs, quality and performance and inform the project management appropriately
• Develop plans, preliminary studies and decision bases, as well as handle the strategic preparation of projects
• Guide stakeholders and ensure the management of quality, risks and resources
• Coordinate procurement and apply appropriate project management methods, tools and standards
• Manage and draft project documentation, monitor developments in project management and integrate them into project work

What distinguishes you

• Higher education in a technical or business administration field combined with continuing education in project management or management informatics; a certification in project management or equivalent experience is a preferential qualification
• Several years of experience in managing complex IT projects; ideally, managerial experience
• Solid knowledge in project management, business administration and financial planning; basic legal knowledge is a preferential qualification
• Analytical thinking, understanding of complex issues as well as excellent conceptual, organizational and editorial skills
• Readiness to collaborate with different groups of interlocutors as well as strong communication and negotiation skills
• Good active knowledge of two official languages and the ability to conduct negotiations in English

The directorate area Police and Identification Systems of fedpol guarantees the secure operation and further development of essential police information systems and databases, serves as the national interface for the exchange of police information and provides forensic and identification services to national and foreign partner authorities. The Police Systems division guarantees the secure and stable operation of the central information systems of the Swiss police. It further develops these systems according to agile methods, based on needs, and ensures their availability, functionality and efficiency for police activity.
