Chief Resident in Gynecology (with or without a specialty title in Gynecology)

The gynecology department of the Hôpital du Jura carries out hospital and outpatient activities primarily at the Delémont site (+ more than 3'300 consultations per year / 450 births / 750 hospitalizations / 500 gynecological operations). The department offers a wide range of general and specialized consultations (senology, urinary incontinence, colposcopy, consultation for adolescents, sterility and menopause) as well as emergency management.

In order to strengthen the current team, we are looking for, for a start of duty on January 1st, 2027 or to be agreed upon, a:

Responsibilities

• You ensure the global care of patients and interact with specialists in the sector.
• You supervise and train the assistant doctors (interns) responsible for patient care and proactively organize their work as well as the daily functioning of the department.
• You participate in the pre- and postgraduate training of the department, as well as in continuous improvement activities of the working environment.

Qualifications

• You hold a Swiss federal Diploma in medicine or a title recognized by the Commission fédérale des professions médicales (MEBEKO)
• Ideally, you benefit from a specialization in gynecology / FMH title or equivalence for training acquired abroad; or are about to acquire it.
• You have excellent clinical knowledge in gynecology and obstetrics.
• Knowledge of French (level B2/C1), other foreign language welcome.
• Autonomy, rigor and excellent interpersonal skills are expected.
