Head of Department Vocational School (80-90 %) - Member of the School Management

Your tasks

• You lead the Vocational School department and bear personnel, pedagogical, and organizational responsibility.
• You accompany and lead the teaching staff in technical and pedagogical aspects.
• You are responsible for the personnel, hourly, and financial planning of your department.
• You ensure the scheduled implementation of lessons for around 70 classes.
• You represent the vocational school in cantonal and national committees and conferences.
• As a member of the school management, you help shape the strategic development of the entire school.
• You take on project management in the areas of school and quality development, design, and pedagogy.
• Upon request, you take on a small teaching workload.

Your profile

• You have basic and/or further education in design.
• You are familiar with the dual vocational training landscape.
• You have vocational pedagogical/didactic training.
• You bring leadership experience and have ideally completed corresponding further training.
• You are well networked in the areas of media, communication, design, and art.
• You are a convincing leadership personality who can inspire people for common goals and bring together different interests.
• You work in a structured manner, think in networks, and bring joy to the further development of an educational institution.
