After 4 years, an evaluation procedure with a view to tenure as associate professor is initiated (Directorate Directive on conditional pre-tenure << tenure track >>) Activity rate: 100% The Institut des sciences du sport (ISSUL) is the main center of UNIL for teaching and research in the interdisciplinary field of sport sciences. It brings together experts in human and social sciences (history, psychology, management, sociology) and in life sciences (physiology, biomechanics, medicine, molecular biology) within the Olympic capital. Main missions: Teaching (45%) This will involve providing 6 weekly hours of teaching per year in French: A teaching release of 2 weekly hours / year is granted during the pre-tenure period in case of engagement at the level of assistant professor in conditional pre-tenure. The position holder will ensure the supervision of Master's theses and Doctoral theses. Research (45%) The position holder will develop their own research work in the field of Sport Education (disciplinary orientation: social sciences). Given the needs of the institute, psychology profiles are not a priority/expected. The research of the position holder will result in international level publications. It is expected that the person will be affiliated with one of the research centers of the Faculté des Sciences sociales et politiques and integrate within the Institut des sciences du sport (ISSUL). The position holder will proceed with the search for external funds, notably from the Fonds National de la Recherche Scientifique Suisse (FNS). Administrative responsibilities (10%) In accordance with the Directorate directive, members of the teaching staff are called upon to assume administrative tasks within their unit, their faculty and the university. For the faculty, these tasks concern: participation in commissions and decision-making or representation bodies. Desired profile Doctorate in sport sciences or social sciences or title deemed equivalent; University teaching experience; Proven research in the field of Sport Education, disciplinary orientation: social sciences; Excellent integration into international scientific networks; Ability to attract external research funding; Good knowledge of French and English orally and in writing; Ability to teach in French within a period of 2 years.
