Our Legal, Regulatory & Compliance department continues to grow: to meet rapidly increasing regulatory requirements and to purposefully advance major strategic themes, we are strengthening our Regulatory Compliance department. As a member of this senior team composed of two experts, you will ensure, in addition to daily operations, in this responsible function, compliance with regulatory requirements, accompany strategic and operational directives, and support the continuous development of our compliance framework.

Your tasks ##

• Central specialized point of contact: You are the point of contact for complex compliance questions and advise the bank competently and with a solution-oriented approach on a wide range of topics - from anti-money laundering to regulatory novelties and other specialized subjects
• Consolidated supervision: You design, implement, and monitor the complete compliance framework for the entire HBL group within the framework of consolidated supervision
• Process analysis and optimization: You continuously analyze existing compliance processes, identify optimization potential, and proactively develop our procedures
• Technical leadership in projects: You assume technical leadership in compliance projects and ensure regulatory compliance during the introduction of new processes
• Regulatory monitoring: You proactively scrutinize the regulatory landscape, analyze new laws and ordinances, and derive measures for the bank

What you bring ##

• Education: Degree in law or economic law
• Experience: Several years of solid professional experience as a Compliance Officer in the Swiss banking context
• Specialized knowledge: Broad and varied knowledge of banking law and supervision in Switzerland as well as experience in the field of consolidated supervision (group compliance)
• Mindset: You convince with pronounced analytical and conceptual skills as well as a pragmatic and solution-oriented approach. You translate complex regulatory requirements into practical and efficient solutions
• Way of working: Personal initiative, autonomy as well as a high sense of quality and responsibility
• Languages: Excellent command of German, both oral and written; good knowledge of English completes your profile
