As a Senior Credit Officer, you take responsibility for demanding credit decisions, contribute your expertise in a targeted manner, and develop our bank's credit business together with your team. Together, we are responsible for the credit policy of BEKB as well as the credit decisions for our Key Clients and corporate clients. We are looking for you to strengthen our team. Senior Credit Officer (a) Workload 80-100% Work location Bern-Bundesplatz How you inspire You advise and support our corporate clients and Key Clients financial coaches in the analysis, assessment, and structuring of new as well as existing credit engagements You assess and decide on large and mostly complex credit transactions in close cooperation with the corporate clients and Key Clients financial coaches You structure demanding financing solutions and ensure risk-conscious lending You monitor credit engagements with an increased risk profile, recognize the need for action early, and develop sustainable solutions together with those involved You ensure the consistent compliance with our credit policy and actively contribute your sound expertise to its application and further development What you bring with you You bring several years of professional experience in corporate client advisory or in credit decision-making at a bank and possess strong analytical skills as well as proven expertise in the assessment and decision of large and complex credit transactions You have sound business and/or economic education and further training with a focus on Banking & Finance or Corporate Finance You possess in-depth knowledge in corporate finance, particularly in the areas of operating and investment financing as well as structured finance. Experience with special financing such as business succession or M&A transactions is a plus You convince with an independent, responsible, and team-oriented way of working as well as a winning appearance You communicate in a target-group-oriented manner with different stakeholders and have proficient German skills in spoken and written form.
