In the middle of the Naturpark Gantrisch, something new is being created from August 2026:
The Restaurant Gurnigel Berghaus is opening its doors again – and for this, we are looking for motivated people who want to be part of a special restart.
Cook (m/f/d)
Workload: 100% or hourly wage
Employment: temporary
Start: from 13.07.2026 or by arrangement
High season until the end of October 2026
Afterwards flexible assignments possible depending on the occasion
Option for continued employment in the 2027 season

WHAT AWAITS YOU
After several years of a break, we are bringing the Restaurant Gurnigel Berghaus back to life together.
Our goal: an authentic place with warm hospitality, good cuisine and a relaxed atmosphere – in the middle of the mountain world of the Naturpark Gantrisch.
When the weather is beautiful, a lot happens with us – then we pull together and give full throttle for our guests. When it becomes quieter, we support each other flexibly – in the restaurant, at events or in the lodge.

YOUR TASKS

• Collaboration in the kitchen
• Support in day-to-day business (à la carte, weekends & sunny days)
• Assignments during breakfast service, seminars, banquets and evening service
• Mise en place and independent work at your station
• Assistance with events and house functions
• Compliance with hygiene and HACCP standards

WHAT YOU BRING

• Team spirit, motivation and flexibility
• Joy in working in the mountains and in nature
• Independent and responsible way of working
• Interest in gastronomy – experience is a plus, but not a must
• Readiness for weekend and flexible assignments
• Advantageous: own vehicle
