What distinguishes you

• Swiss army officer (minimum rank captain), career specialist officer. Specialist training as an intelligence officer desired
• University degree or university of applied sciences degree (preferably in political science, criminology, law, or psychology) and/or several years of professional experience relevant to the function in the intelligence activities / state protection sector or in the police sector
• Experience and skills at the operational level (staff work)
• Strong editorial and communication skills, excellent conceptual and methodological abilities
• Good oral and written knowledge of a second official language as well as good knowledge of English

The Operations Command (Cdo Op) is responsible for all operations and all military deployments of the Swiss Army. It includes, among others, the Air Force, the Land Forces, the four territorial divisions, the SWISSINT competence center, the special forces command, and the military police. Approximately 40 percent of the nearly 2500 employees are civilians: from engineers and aircraft mechanics to analysts.

The Swiss Army employs over 9000 employees within the framework of four military professions and about 200 civilian professions, in 110 locations throughout the national territory. Furthermore, it provides for new recruits, training apprentices in over 30 professions.
