Sheet metal parts with the highest accuracy are produced on systems of impressive complexity, with toolmaking forming the backbone of this production. What the position offers you You lead your five-member team with clarity, reliability, and presence: You set priorities, provide orientation, and create the prerequisites for maintenance, repairs, and preventive maintenance to be implemented consistently and on schedule – even when short-term disruptions require rapid replanning You recognize deviations early, initiate appropriate measures, and always maintain an overview – close to the team, close to the figures, close to the reality of the shop floor You plan maintenance orders, manage capacities with foresight and common sense, and ensure that all tools are ready for use at all times You contribute your own ideas, actively accompany changes, and work closely with the Head of Toolmaking – as a reliable interface between daily operations and strategic further development. Thanks to an early succession plan for the retirement of the current job holder in autumn 2027, sufficient time for comprehensive induction and sustainable knowledge transfer is guaranteed What you bring to the position You have basic training as a toolmaker, polymechanic, or in a related field, as well as further training as a process specialist or comparable – and you bring the motivation to take on responsibility and actively develop a team You lead with clarity and empathy: You communicate directly, work in a structured manner, and act in a solution-oriented way – even when things in maintenance do not go according to plan You consider the confident handling of IT applications to be a matter of course; SAP experience is a plus, which we are happy to train you in You enjoy strengthening standards, making knowledge accessible within the team, and achieving goals together – with the ambition to truly move things forward Not yet convinced?
