To strengthen our Business Applications team, we are looking for a technically skilled and solution-oriented personality as Application Manager D365 SCM 80-100% (m/f/d) # In this specialist role, you will take responsibility for the support, optimization, and further development of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management (F&SCM) with a focus on manufacturing and logistics processes in mechanical engineering. Furthermore, you will be responsible for the project management of projects occurring in the SCM area, including the introduction of a Warehouse Management System (WMS) in D365 F&SCM. You will work closely with the production, supply chain, and logistics departments as well as the Business Applications team and external implementation partners. Focus: Manufacturing and logistics processes in mechanical engineering as well as project management of SCM projects, including the introduction of a Warehouse Management System (WMS) in Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&SCM. What you will achieve with us D365 F&SCM - Manufacturing & Logistics • Technical support and further development of the production, warehouse, and logistics modules in D365 F&SCM • Analysis of requirements from manufacturing and logistics and translation into processes, concepts, and solution designs • Ensuring stable operation as well as continuous optimization of the manufacturing and logistics processes • Participation in rollouts, upgrades, and extensions in an international environment Project Management SCM Projects • Leading projects in the area of D365 F&SCM, including the introduction of WMS solutions • Planning, steering, and controlling of project scope, deadlines, budget, and resources • Coordination of internal departments as well as external implementation and support partners during the project course • Ensuring project standards, quality, and timely implementation • Reporting project progress to management and stakeholders Introduction of Warehouse Management System (WMS) • Leading the conception, implementation, and introduction of a WMS in D365 F&SCM • Definition and optimization of warehouse processes (goods receipt, put-away, picking, goods issue, inventory management) • Coordination of the integration of the WMS with upstream and downstream systems (manufacturing, shipping, legacy systems) • Steering of testing, data migration, and go-live activities • Training and ongoing support of users in warehouse, production, and logistics Process Management & Continuous Improvement • Analysis, documentation, and optimization of manufacturing and logistics processes • Identification of digitalization and automation potentials in production and warehouse • Close cooperation with the production, supply chain, and logistics departments Collaboration & Partner Management • Coordination and steering of external implementation and support partners • Close cooperation with the Business Applications team and IT • Participation in cross-functional projects in a national and international environment What you bring with you • Completed studies in business informatics, mechanical engineering, business administration with an IT focus, or comparable qualification • Several years of experience as an Application Manager, Consultant, or Key User for Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&SCM • Proven experience in leading IT/application projects, ideally in an SCM or ERP environment • Sound knowledge of manufacturing and logistics processes, ideally in mechanical or plant engineering • Experience in the introduction and/or operation of a Warehouse Management System (WMS), ideally in the D365 environment • Experience in requirements analysis, process design, and testing of ERP solutions • Experience in steering external implementation and support partners is an advantage • Strong project management competence as well as confident handling of budget and deadline responsibility • Strong communication personality with a structured, solution-oriented way of working • Very good German and English skills We offer • Responsible specialist role with a direct connection to production and logistics • Active participation in the WMS introduction in D365 F&SCM • Thorough introduction, accompanied onboarding, and structured knowledge transfer • Demanding, varied activity in an internationally oriented industrial environment • Close cooperation with departments, IT, management, and external partners • Above-average employment conditions and advanced infrastructure For further information, Markus Stingl, Human Resources Manager, is at your disposal.
