The Stroke Unit is an area in which nursing precision and rapid action are decisive factors in treatment success. In Bern, we are looking for a Dipl. Pflegefachfrau HF/FH or a Dipl. Pflegefachmann HF/FH with in-depth experience in the field of Stroke Unit at a workload of 80 – 100 %, starting immediately or by arrangement. In a university acute care hospital, you will professionally accompany patients with complex neurological diseases and specifically apply your nursing expertise.

• Direct care and monitoring of patients with acute stroke and neurological clinical pictures
• Management of complex nursing situations in an IMC-near setting
• Collaboration in ensuring evidence-based and high-quality nursing care
• Coordination of the patient process in close interprofessional cooperation
• Professional support and consultation of the nursing team in complex situations
• Participation in the further development of standards, guidelines, and nursing processes

What you bring with you

• Completed training as a Pflegefachfrau or Pflegefachmann HF/FH or equivalent training such as DN II, Bachelor of Science in Nursing, examinierte Pflegefachkraft, Gesundheits- und KrankenpflegerIn or DGKP
• Several years of professional experience in acute care, ideally in the field of neurology, Stroke Unit or IMC
• Nursing-specific further training such as IMC course, CAS, DAS or NDS is an advantage, or willingness to complete these
• Very good clinical decision-making ability as well as high professional competence
• Experience in consulting, coaching, and professional support of nursing professionals
