Key information about the position:
Reference: CLS/RH/ / Contract type: Permanent Contract at 100% / Hours: Monday to Sunday according to several hourly shifts from 7:00 at the earliest and 19:00 at the latest + night shifts 19:00-7:00 + weekend on-call from 7:00 to 19:00 / Start date: as soon as we find the right person / Location: in the heart of Lausanne (M2 stop "Riponne" or Bus 2, 3 or 21 stop "Beaulieu-Jomini")
Why do we need you?
To strengthen our operating block team, we are looking for a Specialized operating room technical assistant in order to contribute to patient safety and the smooth running of interventions.
What will you be required to do?
Participate in the reception, comfort, installation, and safety of patients within the operating rooms
Participate in the application of hygiene and asepsis rules in the pre, peri, and postoperative periods
Collaborate in the conduct of surgical or interventional medical procedures as a circulator
Handle surgical and radiological devices as part of the conduct of surgical interventions

You will join a multidisciplinary team of approximately 60 employees, including 13 specialized operating room technical assistants. Essentials:
Hold a Certificate as a specialized operating room technical assistant (ATSSO)
Demonstrate successful experience in the operating block
Rigorous mastery of asepsis, hygiene, and safety rules in the operating room
Collaborate effectively with the entire block team (surgeons, anesthesiologists, scrub nurses, surgical assistants)
Communicate in a clear, structured manner adapted to the operative context
Demonstrate composure and reliability in critical situations
Assume your responsibilities with professionalism, discretion, and a sense of confidentiality
Integrate quickly into a team thanks to a great capacity for adaptation
