Head of Supply Chain

In this responsible position, you are responsible for the following tasks:

• Analysis, control, and continuous optimization of the entire supply chain (end-to-end) to increase efficiency and quality as well as reduce lead times and costs
• Strategic and operational control of the procurement of raw materials, commercial goods, as well as the negotiation of contracts with national and international suppliers
• Monitoring of inventory levels, ensuring high availability for delivery with minimal inventory costs, as well as coordination of transports and customs clearances
• Close cooperation with the departments Sales, Production, Finance, and external logistics partners to ensure seamless coordination
• Leadership, development, and motivation of the Supply Chain team
• Responsibility for master data quality in the ERP system as well as the regular creation of KPI analyses and reports for the management

What do you bring with you:

• Completed studies (ETH, University) in the field of engineering with further training in business administration, logistics, supply chain management
• 10-15 years of professional experience in a comparable function, ideally in a manufacturing global environment
• Technically savvy personality
• Analytical and structured way of working
• Negotiation skills and assertiveness
• Business fluent German and English skills in spoken and written form, further languages an advantage
• Leadership experience
• Willingness to travel
• Sound knowledge in handling SAP as well as MS Office applications (especially Excel).
