soho basel stands for a unique gastronomic experience in Basel-Stadt, multiple times awarded and honored, and is one of the best-known bars in Switzerland.
This is characterized by a diverse range, which extends from classic cocktails to selected types of wine and whiskey as well as delicious finger food ideas. The unique location in the car-free pedestrian zone guarantees a great view into and out of the lively city center.
The premises have a total area of approx. 550 m2 distributed over three floors with a classic bar in industrial look, a gallery & lounge, a club, and a large terrace.

To strengthen our young, up-and-coming team, we are looking for you as

Bartender
Immediately

Your tasks:

• Preparing and creatively arranging classic as well as innovative cocktails, long drinks, and other beverages
• Ensuring professional guest service as well as creating a warm and inviting atmosphere
• Friendly reception of guests and individual support for their wishes and needs
• Carrying out cleaning and maintenance work as well as responsibility for the daily mise en place
• Ensuring the correct processing of all cash transactions and ensuring a smooth service process
• Efficient preparation and follow-up of all workflows to ensure seamless service
• Close cooperation with the entire team to create extraordinary guest experiences.

Your profile:

• Several years of experience in gastronomy, sound specialist knowledge, and passion for cocktails, spirits, and mixology
• Excellent communication skills and service orientation
• Sense of responsibility, team spirit, as well as flexibility and resilience
• An eye for detail and a well-groomed appearance
• Very good German and English skills, additional language skills are an advantage
• A solution-oriented mindset and a positive and team-oriented personality
