Real estate appraisal expert - assistant to the delegate to the Real Estate Commission (70% to 80%)

Including all plots, the Ville de Lausanne owns approximately 2'400 ha within its territory. This important real estate and land portfolio is the result of a constant and sustainable policy of acquiring real estate and a generally conservative policy regarding the sale of land. The Commission immobilière ensures the management of all real estate transactions for the City. This unit also plays a central role in the enhancement of the real estate heritage as well as in the analysis of objects subject to the cantonal law on the preservation and promotion of the rental stock.

Main mission(s)

Implement the real estate policy of the Ville de Lausanne

Prepare files for the Commission immobilière

Analyze and evaluate real estate properties

Process all real estate operations in which the City is involved (purchases, sales, LPPPL, DDP, easements, etc.)

Organize the administrative aspects related to real estate transactions

Draft expert reports, minutes as well as decision proposals

Conduct strategic monitoring of the real estate market

Profile

University Master's (law, architect, HEC), federal certificate or diploma in real estate economy or training deemed equivalent

5 years of professional experience related to the real estate branch

Knowledge of the local real estate market and the different valuation methods

Ability to negotiate, resistance to tension, assertiveness

Rigor, analytical capacity and ease of writing

Sensitivity to sustainable development criteria and social housing policy

Sense of ethics and understanding of issues relating to public service

Proficiency in MS Office tools
