Tasks You will work as a lecturer in teaching and applied research and actively contribute your expertise in the field of Digital Health and AI in healthcare. Research & Development: You will develop an independent research profile in the field of Digital Health with a focus on AI for Healthcare. You will acquire and lead national and international R&D projects (Innosuisse, EU, SNF, etc.) in cooperation with hospitals, health institutions, and industry partners. You will publish project results in specialist journals and at conferences and engage in knowledge transfer. Teaching: You will teach in Bachelor's and Master's degree programs in Computer Science, Medical Informatics, as well as related degree programs with a focus on Digital Health and AI for Healthcare. You will supervise students in project, Bachelor's, and Master's theses and participate in the further development and establishment of new teaching modules. Collaboration and Profiling: You will bring current research and practical experience in the areas of Digital Health and Medical AI and engage in the further development of the Human-Centered & Medical Computing focus area. In addition, you will maintain cooperations with hospitals, clinical partners, and industrial companies. Profile You have a sound methodological education in Computer Science, Medical Informatics, or Artificial Intelligence and have a strong interest in specifically using digital and AI-based methods for medical and health-related questions while taking into account clinical application contexts as well as real care processes. You have a completed university degree with a doctorate in Computer Science, Medical Informatics, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field. You have proven experience in applied research in the field of Digital Health, medical AI, or data-driven methods in healthcare and move confidently at the interface between technology, healthcare, and user-centered system design. Ideally, you have experience in teaching at a university, enjoy teaching, are didactically skilled, and like working with students of different educational levels. You communicate confidently in English, both written and spoken. German language skills are required for teaching activities; these may be present at the start of employment or must be acquired in the medium term. You enjoy working both independently and in a team, are quality-conscious, and enjoy scientifically and technically demanding tasks. A part of the work (up to . 50 %) can be done remotely.
