What you can contribute

• Define Switzerland's position and defend it within multilateral bodies, participate in intergovernmental negotiations
• Analyze the development of international tax policy and its effects on Switzerland
• Participate in expert, working, or advisory groups within the framework of projects
• Represent the office during discussions with economic circles and associations
• Prepare decision-making bases for the head of the office and the head of the department

What makes you unique

• University Master's degree, preferably in law, economics, or international relations, with relevant professional experience
• Mastery of national and international tax law applicable to companies and interest in political issues; ideally, knowledge in the field of minimum taxation of large companies (OECD minimum taxation) is required
• Reliability, ability to assert oneself, team spirit, taste for finding solutions, meticulousness, autonomy and organizational skills, particularly regarding the processing of complex cases
• Great writing skills and excellent analytical capacity
• Very good knowledge of two official languages and English

The SFI for Switzerland

The State Secretariat for International Financial Matters (SFI) is responsible for the coordination and strategic management of international financial, monetary, and tax affairs and defends the interests of Switzerland in these areas. It is also responsible for developing the policy and regulatory bases for financial markets as well as the Swiss tax location.
