Have you recently completed your apprenticeship as a freight forwarding agent and have already been able to gain initial experience in sea freight? Our business client in the Bern region offers you the opportunity to take the next step and develop professionally within a supportive team.

Tasks ###

• organizing and coordinating sea freight shipments in import and export (FCL/LCL)
• preparing and checking transport documents
• checking customs declarations
• coordinating pre-carriage and on-carriage with shipping lines, ports and agents
• communicating with customers, partners and authorities
• calculating freight rates as well as preparing offers
• processing complaints and monitoring shipments

Requirements ###

• completed apprenticeship as a freight forwarding agent
• mandatory initial professional experience in sea freight (e.g. from the training company or an internship)
• motivated, willing-to-learn and reliable way of working

IT ###

MS-Office - user knowledge

Languages ###

German: m+s very good
English: m+s good to very good
French: knowledge is an advantage
