Data Engineer

Our client, an established IT and technology company, is looking for a motivated Data Engineer in the Baden area, starting immediately, to strengthen the team! In this role, you will have the opportunity to participate in various data migration and integration projects, plan, develop and optimize data processing processes with SQL and Python, and ensure correct data transfer between systems. Additionally, you will gain insight into the healthcare sector and can work on meaningful projects that make a difference in people's lives.

Your tasks

• Plan and execute projects for data migration, data integration and data extraction.
• Analyze source data and determine how it will be transferred to the target system.
• Develop, maintain and optimize data processing and migration processes with SQL and Python.
• Check migrated data, identify and fix errors and support customers with testing and commissioning.
• Create and maintain technical documentation on data processes and migrations.
• Work with internal teams to further improve data processes.

Your profile

• You have training or a degree in the field of computer science, data engineering, software development or a comparable qualification.
• You bring practical knowledge in Python, SQL and relational databases as well as familiarity with ETL/ELT processes and data transfer between systems.
• You enjoy working on data migration and integration projects and pay attention to data quality and accuracy.
• You have fluent German skills and good English skills. Basic knowledge of French is a plus.
• You enjoy working in a team, think analytically and structurally and appreciate working on tasks independently.
