Department & Project Manager Production 100% (a)

As Department and Project Manager, you take responsibility for two production-related departments as well as demanding investment and special projects. You lead your teams, manage projects from idea to implementation, and work closely with production, development, design, purchasing, and other internal and external partners.

• Functional and personnel leadership as well as further development of two production-related departments and their team leaders
• Management of demanding investment and infrastructure projects from technical inventory taking through concept, procurement, and realization to acceptance
• Responsibility for schedule, budget, quality, and risks as well as regular reporting to the Production Management and project participants
• Preparation of project plans, functional specifications, specifications, investment requests, and economic calculations as well as conducting utility analyses
• Coordination of all internal and external stakeholders as well as support for tenders, procurements, machine, and system acceptances
• Analysis and optimization of production sequences and processes with a focus on quality, efficiency, and costs
• Initiation and promotion of lean, quality, and improvement measures for the sustainable reduction of error, process, and production costs
• Implementation and organization of training, knowledge transfer, and production support as well as support for quality management during customer audits
• Completed technical basic training, ideally in the metalworking industry
• Further education or studies in project management, process technology, or a comparable field (HF/FH)
• Several years of practical and leadership experience as a team leader and project manager in an industrial environment, ideally in subtractive manufacturing
• Strong technical understanding paired with business thinking as well as high quality and cost awareness
• Independent, solution-oriented, and assertive personality with enjoyment in interdisciplinary cooperation
• Very good German skills in speaking and writing as well as good English skills
• ERP & Office 365 knowledge
• Readiness for occasional business trips, trade fair visits as well as machine and system acceptances and the motivation to independently familiarize yourself with new topics
