Device Assembler – visual inspection / German / SAP / Medical Technology/Rotkreuz

Background: To strengthen our team, we are looking for male and female device assemblers who are responsible for the assembly of sub-assemblies as well as the final assembly of various analysis systems. As a male or female device assembler, you will work as part of a team on the manufacture of complex diagnostic systems consisting of mechanical, electrical, optical and thermal components. Your activities include the assembly, commissioning and documentation of the manufactured instruments in a regulated environment. By providing these testing solutions, Roche makes an important contribution to healthcare worldwide.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Assembly of sub-assemblies and complete systems according to detailed manufacturing instructions
• Execution and paperless-electronic as well as paper-based documentation of all assembly and testing activities according to regulated standards (GxP/Compliance)
• Inspection of the assembled systems and independent recording of deviations
• Rectification of deviations according to specifications or forwarding to the appropriate specialists
• Active participation in the continuous improvement process (CIP) to increase quality and efficiency
• Collaboration in the team to ensure timely fulfillment of the production plan

Must Haves:

• Completed technical training or further education (e.g. polymechanic, automation technician, electronics technician, electrical installer or mechatronics technician, bicycle and motorcycle mechanic, precision mechanic, plant and apparatus builder)
• Basic IT knowledge
• Fluent German in spoken and written form is a must
• Understanding of complex instruments
• High quality awareness
• Quick comprehension
• Team player, reliable and flexible
