During your basic training at our partner company, you will learn the professional handling of various materials as well as the operation of conventional processing machines. At the end of the first year of apprenticeship, you will complete this basic training. Subsequently, you will get to know various departments with us and receive comprehensive training in the areas of aircraft maintenance.

Your Role ##

The Polymechanic EFZ manufactures workpieces, produces tools and fixtures for production, or assembles devices, apparatuses, machines, or systems. In cooperation with the specialists in the training workshop, you will process projects and create technical documents. In the training workshop, you will learn the basic skills (turning, drilling, milling, grinding). You will work with various materials and learn their properties as well as the handling of machines, tools, and measuring and testing equipment. After the basic training, your time in the hangars and workshops starts with us at the airport. During the training as a Polymechanic Aircraft Maintenance, there is a variety of activities that you will learn and support.
