Kebab Cook / Gastronomy Employee 100 % (m/f/d)

For our kebab restaurant in St. Gallen, we are looking for an experienced and reliable employee for a permanent 100% position starting in October or by arrangement.

Your main tasks include the independent preparation of kebab, dürüm and pide as well as all necessary preparatory work for this. You prepare the ingredients for daily operations, bake bread independently and operate the machine for cutting the kebab meat. In addition, you ensure a clean and hygienic workplace during and after operations and undertake the necessary cleaning work.

Since the activity also involves direct contact with our guests, you take orders and interact with our customers in a friendly and well-groomed manner. Even with a high volume of guests and during peak times, you work reliably, quickly and carefully.

Requirement Profile:

• At least 2–3 years of professional experience in the kebab or gastronomy industry
• Experience in the preparation of kebab, dürüm and pide
• Confident and independent baking of bread
• Experience in handling the machine for cutting kebab meat
• Independent execution of all preparatory work
• Knowledge of hygiene and cleanliness standards in gastronomy
• German language skills at least at level B1
• Friendly, well-groomed and customer-oriented appearance
• Reliable and independent way of working
• Resilience and fast working during peak times
• Ability to work in a team
• Readiness to work evenings, nights, weekends and holidays
• A completed culinary training is not required
