Service description:
Your new challenge is shaped in the emergency department of GHOL, offering 19 bays and handling more than 37,000 consultations per year, driven by a supportive medical-nursing team (nurse/doctor pair) and aiming for optimal care.
Job description:
In your new role, your duties have a direct impact on the quality of patient care. Your role will notably include,
• Welcoming, triaging and directing all patients presenting to the emergency department
• Providing 24/7 care to all adult patients (including neurovascular care within our STROKE UNIT) who may present health problems of varying severity in physical, psychological and social domains.
Required profile:

• Mandatory experience of at least 2 years in an acute care unit
• Desired experience in a similar role or in an intensive care unit
• Professional conscientiousness and empathy
• Strong sense of responsibility
• High adaptability and responsiveness
• Autonomy
Recognised for your initiative and interpersonal skills, you are appreciated for your ability to work in a team.
As guarantor of optimal care organisation, your physical endurance and ability to manage stress are real assets.
Education level:
• Bachelor in nursing HES or equivalent diploma recognised by the Swiss Red Cross required
• A post-diploma training as an expert in emergency care (EPD ES or DAS) would be an advantage
