components Ansaldo Energia is a full-cycle integrated operator with the capabilities to
build turnkey power plants on green field sites - using its own technology and its own
independent design, production, construction, commissioning & service resources.
Strengthen our team in the Business Unit Service in Baden (Switzerland) with your expertise &
experience as
Project Manager
Your main responsibility is to ensure customer satisfaction and profitability through contract
execution excellence and sale of additional scope and services to our current and future gas
turbine & combined cycle customers base.
*Your tasks*
Lead and manage the execution of Service Contracts of all types, e.g. long term maintenance
agreements, frame agreements & up-grade projects • Establish and maintain a relationship with the
customers • Develop and align the project execution strategy, addressing customer, contract and
Ansaldo considerations, together with other stakeholder • Lead the Service Team activities in planning
and execution planned and un-planned maintenance activities at the customer plants • Support the
development of the sale of additional scope and services to the customer, following the relevant
Ansaldo guidelines for such activities • Present the allocated projects at regular review meeting
towards the Ansaldo Management • Take an active part in improving & maintaining the process and
tool landscape used in the activities.
*Your profile*
Degree in mechanical engineering and/or business studies with a good technical understanding • 5-10
years of experience from the industrial sector, preferably power industry, with a well proven track
record • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in project management or international sales • Open
minded team player, willing to learn with strong endurance and able to work under pressure even for
longer periods • Have strong interpersonal skills & being a good communicator • Critical thinking,
problem solving & analytical skills • Strong commitment to delivery on-time/cost • Being flexible and
self-motivated & willing to travel frequently, also on short notice (up to 30%) • Excellent command of
English, knowledge of Italian and German would be an asset, other languages are an advantage.
