• 18 July 2026 • 100% • Indefinite duration • Zurich Area Sales Manager Zurich, CH, 8005 For our local organization CARMA / Barry Callebaut Suisse SA, we are looking for, immediately or by agreement, a Area Sales Manager m/f/d 100% In this exciting role, you will be traveling every day to take care of existing customers and find new business and opportunities. You are responsible for the central regions of Switzerland (LU, ZG, SZ, UR, OW, NW) as well as other regions to be determined - ideally, you also reside there. Main tasks: • Identify business opportunities by spotting potential customers and evaluating their position in the sector; research and analysis of sales options • Sell products by contacting and establishing relationships with potential customers; recommend customized solutions and cross-selling • Maintain relationships with existing customers through support, information, and advice; explore and recommend new opportunities to maintain and develop their business • Record sales and project information in Salesforce and provide regular feedback to the sales manager • Analyze the current market and distributor situation in the defined areas • Identify product improvements or new products based on industry trends, market activities, and competitors About you: • Completed training in bakery, pastry, confectionery or similar • Additional training in sales and/or commerce • At least 5 years of experience in a similar position in the Swiss food industry • Passion for chocolate and food ingredients • Open and proactive personality - someone who takes initiative • German native language and good knowledge of English, other languages an asset • Good IT skills, previous experience with Salesforce an advantage • Knowledge of Swiss distribution channels (mass market and traditional trade) • Driving license (B) We offer you • Collaboration with a motivated team where you can take on responsibility and make decisions • A dynamic environment where your creative ideas are welcome • Many development opportunities, also within the Barry Callebaut group • A salary corresponding to the position and a company car also for private use Are you ready to take the next step in your career?
