Head of Operational Procurement of Building Materials You don't want to administer. You want to shape. Procurement is increasingly becoming a strategic success factor. At HGC Handel AG, you take on a newly created management function with national responsibility and actively help shape the further expansion of operational procurement. You lead 13 employees at five locations throughout Switzerland, develop processes and structures further, and create the basis for a powerful, cross-site procurement organization. Your task In this key position, you are responsible for operational procurement in the building materials sector with an annual purchasing volume of over CHF 200 Mio. Together with your team, you will further develop the organization, establish a modern lead buyer structure, and create uniform processes and standards throughout Switzerland. In doing so, you work closely with Category Management, Sales, and Supply Chain, optimize procurement processes, develop strategic supplier relationships, and ensure economical and reliable supply. Your profile You are an experienced management personality with a passion for purchasing and supply chain. Ideally, you bring the following: • Several years of management and purchasing experience, preferably in the building materials trade, technical wholesale or industry • Experience in further developing organizations and processes • Negotiation security and entrepreneurial thinking • Experience with SAP or a comparable ERP system • German at a native language level as well as good French language skills (at least B2) • Willingness to travel within Switzerland What you can look forward to • A national management function with a lot of creative leeway • Leadership of a dedicated team of 13 employees at five locations • Responsibility for a purchasing volume of over CHF 200 Mio. • Close collaboration with the Category Management, Supply Chain, and Sales departments • Company car with private use • Attractive employment conditions, modern working tools, and a progressive pension fund.
