Road Inspector Road Inspector 80 - 100% Your new role You will head the Road Inspectorate and be responsible for the proper and sustainable maintenance of all public roads, paths, squares, and structures throughout the city. This includes organizing winter services, creating and coordinating the annual construction program, and monitoring projects and submissions. Furthermore, you will bring an understanding of the diverse demands on public space. You will lead a dedicated team, manage the budget and operating account, and ensure systematic condition recording in accordance with the Management System for Road Maintenance (MSE). As an important interface, you will represent the Road Inspectorate externally, in expert groups, and to the media. This position is for you if You have a degree as a Civil Engineer ETH, FH or a comparable qualification. You have several years of management experience in a similar function. You have in-depth knowledge of proper and sustainable operational and structural maintenance of public roads, paths, and squares, as well as digitalization and management for road maintenance. You have a strong customer focus and a good understanding of the various concerns of the citizens. You have very good written and verbal communication skills.
